Long Bio

Josh Rosen is a cartoonist and illustrator based out of Toronto, Ontario. He’s been drawing pictures and telling stories non-stop since as far back as he can remember, so he was destined for a career either making graphic novels or being a professional weirdo.

He studied literature at McMaster University before getting an MFA in creating comics at the Center for Cartoon Studies. He has since gone on to do illustration work for magazines, roleplaying games, animation projects and documentary films. But comics and kid lit remain his first loves.

Josh’s previous works include the graphic novels The Good Fight (Scholastic Canada) with writer Ted Staunton, History Comics: World War II (First Second) with writer Kate Hannigan and Science Comics: Wildfires (First Second). He has additionally spent many years working in arts education, helping share the tools for young artists to create drawings and tell stories of their own.
